Hey guys! Welcome to Concoction Kitchen! My name is Stephanie, a wannabe recipe developer (with a degree in Nutrition and Culinary School training) with a love of creating and experimenting with food.
Concoctions* are a term my family used when I was a kid to describe my many culinary experiments, albeit less than appetizing. I have a rather infamous story about attempting to create deep fried oreos, but more on that later.
I’ve grown up in the kitchen. It’s my hangout spot, where I spend most of my time with family and friends. It’s where I feel the most creative and the most relaxed.
I wanted to create this blog as a way to encourage everyone to be adventurous in the kitchen. That doesn’t mean making some fancy schmancy 5 course meal, it means something different to each person. Like me, I hope you like to challenge yourself and with challenge comes success and failure. Learn from it! It’s the only way to develop your skills.
